Sound designer and recordist for All Circles the Moon and Dirt Shines in the Sun (2021).
Multichannel film and installation work directed by Chris Cochrane-Friedrich and Wahyu Al-Mardhani.

“All circles the moon and dirt shines in the sun is an archival film made up of over 4000 separate clips, all recorded by a DSTV crew member, and either broadcast on local television through their network or published on their Youtube. Re-arranged and constructed by Wahyu Al-Mardhani and Chris Cochrane-Friedrich, video is accompanied by text from interviews conducted with DSTV over the last four years and sound recordings collected by sound artist Josh Peters in Toraja. 4 channels on 4 screens, each a different perspective and temporality of the same event, of adjacent action, each contributing to the construction of a collective memory and each produced by a cameraperson in the DSTV crew. The work proposes an emotional topography of DSTV’s work over the last 15 years, a living and growing archive of Torajan life, individual and communal.”
Exhibited at CAAMA, Alice Springs and Abbotsford Convent, Melbourne.
